HDD too slow for 4K HDR playback??"
#1

My current setup is following:PC acting as server running Ubuntu Server 18.04 with Docker setup responsible for obtaining media. Nvidia Shield acting as client running Kodi 18. Media is stored on HDD in server PC which is shared to Kodi as NFS. Everything is on local network.I am experiencing lot of problems with media playback. Most of the high bit rate media buffers from time to time, but sometimes even low bit rate stuff have problems with playback. I have modified Kodi's cache settings which seems to have helped a bit but I'm unsure in what direction should I be heading.
